Port Voip

How do I make voip work in myanmar?
My voip gateways are behind myanmar isp's firewall and proxy and all ports are blocked. I need to register the gateways to my softswitch in UK and send traffic to Myanmar. Please help!
The customer links is down on rare occasions. If allied HQ
at this time the BBC is moving the files to the Prime station.
Softswitch is the later of the links return. Wait like two days
if you are not priorities up. A software offering must have three
permit sites that are supportive.

Voip Office

Has anyone succesfully used VoIP on Symbian?
I'm thinking of going Wi-Fi with my next mobile, and try running a VoIP client over the wireless networks in my home and office. I know Skype is very soon launching a client which will run on Symbian OS (I don't want to run a Microsoft operating system) and there are others like Fring which I believe is in testing stage...
...but has anyone here actually managed to successfully run any VoIP client on any Symbian OS device? Also, I was looking at the Nokia E61 as the E62 has the Wi-Fi functionality removed, but the E61 doesn't have a camera and I like video calls. Can you recommend a phone which has push email, Wi-Fi, Symbian OS AND a camera?
Thanks very much for your help.

Lcd Voip

Is there a service provider that offers cable through broadband?
I currently pay for Cablevisions IO triple play package. It costs 29.95\month for all three services (cable, internet, and phone). My setup is a 42" LCD TV with surround sound hooked up directly to my computer with an RGB cable. My cable comes through the regular cable input. So it's easy for me to watch streamed content from places like hulu, youtube, and such without needing any extra pc card or splitters. What I want to do is cut costs of my services. I can buy broadband from another carrier (AT&T costs 19.99\month) buy a Magic Jack for my phone (39 and change\year). Is there a cable company that streams channels over broadband like the companies that use voip over the phone (magicjack/vonage)? I'm not looking for anything for free, just cheaper with no equipment to buy with a good range of channels. Does anyone know of such a service? Thanks in advance.
I use Packet8 and MagicJack for a cheap 2nd line!!

Voip Vonage

Will Vonage VOIP Serv work with digital phones or better to have touch tone?
If by this you mean ,should I replace the digital phones with regular analog phones? I can infer that you already have a PBX if you are using digital phones so no don't replace them. You need to augment the PBX with a voip gateway and configure it into your dial plan. If the PBX and phones are so old that you are going to replace them anyways, you can look at analog phone switch banks or going completely IP. I would do the last if it were me. The cost of decent buisiness VOIP phones have way down from a year ago. As far as replaceing the PBX, there are several "out of the box" solutions based on asterisk that would probably fit your needs and pocketbook. Look around a bit or drop me an e-mail if you would like more information.

Linksys Voip

Can you tell me how to configure a VoIP phone adapter (Linksys PAP2T)?
I am based in Cebu, Philippines, I need a VoIP phone adapter to minimize by phone billing. I need to buy VoIP phone adapter but I don't know how to configure. I need an international call especially Japan. Please tell so that I can buy now the Linksys PAP2T model.
I use the Linksys PAP2T-NA, and they work well for me.
However, I may suggest using the SPA-2102-NA because it includes a NAT-Router too. It may be easier to configure for QOS (quality of service for VoIP) and may automatically take care of VoIP port forwarding issues.
With PAP2T-NA, you will need to know how to "Port Forward" or "Port Trigger" SIP ports 5060-5063 and RTP ports 16384-16482 on your NAT-Router. This is important for VoIP to work properly.
You can configure two separate VoIP services with PAP2T-NA.
I configure mine for CallCentric on line-1 and InPhonex on line-2.
Just follow the configuration instructions of your PAP2T-NA or SPA-2102-NA adapters as documented by Linksys.
Also, your VoIP service providers like CallCentric and Inphonex will provide information on how to configure your login and password into your VoIP ATA adapters.

Skype Voip

What, in your opinion, is the best Skype (VoIP) Phone under $100?
I preferably would want it to work as a normal landline and as a Skype phone. If you could give me any links / personal experience, that would be great.
FYI: The phone is to be used in Australia
Thanks!
If you are looking for a phone to use just for your VoIP phone line, then you may want to consider a USB phone. And with a SIP provider you can call and recieve calls from traditional land line telephones through your VoIP phone. Here is a link for USB phones:

If you want to be able to plug your regular phone into your computer, then what you need is a telephony board for your computer as opposed to a certain phone. You can find telephony boards at the link below, but if you are going to make the switch why not go all the way and just transfer your phone number to a SIP provider.
