Can we connect Skype and Land phone line(PSTN) via Voice/Fax Modem?

Is gateway Driver available for dial-up voice modem, which makes the modem to be an IP to PSTN and PSTN to IP phone gateway. Can we receive IP calls using (VoIP) Skype and forward the call to PSTN via your land phone line and vice versa? Without using Skype Forwarder (a external USB connected componant) , IP Phone, or Skype-In/Out. Only by use of Software, Internal Fax/Voice (speaker phone) modem and Land phone line. Please give your suggesions...

How do i setup Asterisk to send/recieve calls through a Quintum DX gateway using a sip trunk?

Hi,

Have searched EVERYWHERE for this answer but cant find any information on settings ANYWHERE! PLEASE HELP!

I would like to connect a Quintum DX (Digital Gateway) to my Asterisk using FreePBX. I want to have outgoing and incoming from the Quintum. I have managed to get incoming working with the setting below but outgoing does not. So what setting should i put in FreePBX to allow the calls outgoing AND incoming from the Quintum gateway.

Judging by the amount of 'MySpace' questions on this site, I do not think you will get any good answers.

I have used neither but I know of Asterisk at least.
