How do I save the entire contents of my hardrive. Everything, the complete memory of my computer?

Even though I only have a Toshiba Satellite L35-S2171 with an intel celeron M processor, it is packed with stuff that I like!
The problem is that I'm using the computer for both entertainment(music, video/movies, games, browsing etc..) and business(email(OUTLOOK AND yahoo, msn and gmail), research, downloads of PDF files and other relevant data,VOIP SERVICE, word documents, files, learning programs etc..., AND to top it all of, my own unique preferences for passwords, settings and configurations.

Things have gotten so layered, if I had a system crash or somehow lost this balance......I'd probably be devastated!

I learned how to back up the registry, and I did it again right before I submitted this question......SOOOOH,,,,,,, DOES THAT MEAN THE TOTALITY OF MY COMPUTERS BRAIN IS FIXED SOMEWHERE IN MY COMPUTER FOR RECALL LATER(IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT)? AND IF NOT HOW CAN I PRESERVE AND REPLACE IF NEEDED THE CONTENTS OF MY COMPUTERS MEMORY.

jesus dont pull a nut... for that much information u might as well buy another hardrive and copy the whole thing... if its a laptop well then ide back up the files thats bout it. a desktop put a second hardrive in and do a complete copy. i recommend against it tho. save the files not the settings. u can redo them later and even improve once your rappy windows assplodes on you. linux ftw
