Ok I have been trying to get my pc and lcd to swap the monitors. I have tried to get the lcd as the primary but it will not accept it. I can get the desktop background to show up but no icons. If I go to safe mode with networking I can get the internet and all icons to work but no sound. If I could get sound I would be fine. Anyone know how to fix either problem? Thanks John
Louise I am trying to watch my daughters college soccer game on the larger lcd tv. I cannot get it to work by just trying to make the 2nd lcd as the primary. For some reason it will not accept it. In safe mode with networking I can get it to come on the lcd and get the feed but it doesn't have sound. Thanks John
I finally fixed the problem after two days. It was the video driver. After I went to the Intel website and downloaded the latest driver(I thought I had the latest thru windows driver updates, it wasn't) I installed it and I now can play my notebook screen on my lcd perfectly with sound.
